Hurricane Dog is built from samples, a little synthesized white noise, and old recorded sounds of a barrel and my dorm window grate being hit. It uses scifi "laser" effects like those in Work the Crowd and Snow Devil, bass and percussion similar to Lunar or Satyr, and vocal samples in the style of Idaho. The name comes from the song Dog Shelter by Burial, which I've remixed and which served as inspiration for the song, and a recent featured Wikipedia article. It's dedicated to Alexandra Brodsky.

It has more soul than any human being I know.

Than any human being I know.
